This is fan-fucking-tastic. For once this idiot castle has done something absolutely brilliant. Finally, I'm really in control, and you had all better just stay the hell out of my way. Some of you deserve my wand - the one made of ash - where the sun don't shine, and believe me if I see you, you'll get it. And I won't be gentle either. And it might even shooting sparks. Actually... yeah, it totally will.

I hate, hate, hate this damned castle!

[Hatsuharu can be seen out by the lake, leaning against a tree as he writes. There is a small white patch on the side of his neck. He has gone there so no one falls afoul of his other self. When he isn't writing, he's chucking rocks into the water. Hard.]

Kisa... did your parents send you a costume...?

No. I wasn't lost! Ha! You all expected that to be my excuse, didn't you?

No, it was much, much worse. My parents sent me to an intensive spellcasting course in hopes that would help to improve my abilities. I set the instructor's hair on fire, turned a mouse inside out, dropped a 10 kilo weight on a classmate's head and blew up my desk... three times. I really do suck at magic.

Oh well. At least I can levitate a feather, so I'm not completely without hope!

Great. Just fucking great. Thank you very much, Hogwarts, for your consideration. I finally, finally start to be able to make my way around without getting lost every five seconds, and you go and turn it all upside down.

[There is the sound of glass breaking. Hatsuharu is none too happy, and a light fixture is suffering for it, as he has ripped off one of the glass covers and piffed it full-strength at what used to be the floor. After that, there is a long silence and when he writes again, the script seems more looping, and the quill has definitely not dig into the page as much.]

Hm. I'm surprised. I didn't think even I could get so lost that I would end up on the ceiling...

Kisa... I have Tora. He just ran by and I caught him for you. He's sleeping in a robe pocket, and quite safe, so don't worry.

I think I'm actually starting to learn the outlay of this place better. I didn't get lost once when I left the train, and managed to make it straight to the Hufflepuff dorms. I know, I know. It doesn't sound all that fantastic, but when you're... well... me, it's a fairly large achievement.

I hope my classload isn't too large this year... I signed up for a lot in hopes of catching up on what I missed the last time I got lost. I think it should be alright. I just have to be sure to apply myself and make sure I spend a lot of time studying and doing homework.

Speaking of studying, Sara offered to help me out with my spells. I think it should be a good way to get better. Then again it might be a good way to embarrass myself too...

I'm still not sure if I should trust him. Those first few conversations we had over the journals were... suspicious to say the least. I still can't fathom why in Merlin's name someone like him would even begin to be bothered with someone like me. I know I shouldn't let my guard down. I know it. There's something going on here that I just can't put my finger on, but...

It gets harder and harder to remember that stuff with each conversation and encounter I have with him.
